SYNOPSIS:

Choi Han-Gyul (Gong Yoo) is a third generation scion of a food chaebol. he has never had a job and does not care for responsibility. Han-Gyul is hung up on his first love, Han Yoo-Joo (Chae Jung-An), who has never interested in dating, so they never officially went out. on the other hand, Go Eun-Chan (Yoon Eun-Hye) is a 24-year-old tomboy who is often mistaken for a guy. her father died when she was 16-years-old and since then she has taken over as the breadwinner in her family. she has the responsibility of taking care of her childish, spendthrift mother and trouble-making younger sister, so Eun-Chan takes up every job possible: taekwondo teacher, waitress and food delivery. When Han-Gyul and Eun-Chan meet, he not knowing that she is a girl, decides to hire to pretend to be his gay lover so that he can escape the blind dates arranged by his grandmother. Meanwhile, Han-Gyul cousin Choi Han-sung (Lee Sun-Kyun), is an established music producer and his ex-girlfriend is Yoo-Joo, now an artist who studied in New York. The two were lovers for about 8 years, but their relationship ended when Yoo-Joo left Han-Sung for another man by the name of DK. Two years after they separate, their paths cross again when she returns to Seoul.

He's a young and handsome heir to a food empire. He likes playing the field and doesn't want to settle down anytime soon. His grandmother wants to see him setting down, so she starts setting him on a blind dates, after his return to Korea, so he can find someone he can marry. Hating the idea, he Winds up meeting Eun-Chan randomly and thinks she's a guy and decides on impulse to hire her as his fake boyfriend to drive away the girls he meets on his blind dates. Unhappy with him after this, his grandma sets him with a task in restoring and running an old run down "Coffee Prince 1st Shop" in Seoul..

She's a high-spirited girl and very tomboyish. Her father passed away which left her as the breadwinner of the family. Eun-Chan takes on every job she can just to earn money for her family. On one of her jobs she delivers to Choi Han-Gyul, and later on she meets him again. He mistakes her as a guy and hires her to pretend to be his "boyfriend". The two start spending more time together and when Han-Gyul is told to work at the "Coffee Prince 1st Shop", she gets him to get her a job there. Still thinking she's a guy, he decides to hire only " Prince" and she hides her identity of being a girl to keep her job...
